Why contractors choose the Super Shot

  • True on-demand pumping — the pump runs only when you pull the trigger, reducing waste and clean-out. No daily pump clean-out required.
  • Flex Boom — an overhead boom carries the hose weight, cutting operator fatigue and keeping the heated hose off the pavement.
  • Fast, even melting — a high-BTU burner with an oil-jacketed double-boiler tank heats sealant quickly without scorching.
  • Efficient operation — a Tier 4 diesel engine with push-button startup and automatic digital temperature controls for sealant and transfer oil.

Super Shot melter FAQs

Which Super Shot is right for my crew?
Match the model to your daily volume: the 60 suits smaller crews and routes; the 125 is the all-around production workhorse; the 250 is built for high-volume highway and DOT work. Not sure? Call us — we will help you size it.

Can I run mastic in a Super Shot?
No. Super Shot melters are built for hot-pour crack sealant. Aggregate-filled mastics should be run in a mastic melter to avoid damage — ask us about the right machine for mastic.

How long does it take to heat up?
Roughly an hour to operating temperature, depending on model and conditions. Optional overnight heaters shorten next-day startup.
